There are critical decisions needing to be made as our community grows.
#1 – Great Place to Live,
Work and Have Fun!
- An exciting vision and strategic plan with everyone involved and consensus achieved.
- Preservation of our great history and development.
- Clean air, natural water sources, and pristine high mountain desert.
- Good employment opportunities for all.
- Well-rated schools and school choices
- Plentiful recreation with parks, trails, hikes, kayaks, and bicycles
- Fulfilling program of sports, arts, music, restaurants……” music and parks, especially for the children of Prescott”
#2-Moderate Growth & Balance of Resources/Intrastructure
- NO to houses on every hilltop
- A fundamental long-term management plan is required for our water supply portfolio
- Committed, contracted and projected demands must be addressed
- Safe yield calculations and net zero water subdivisions need to be further evaluated for effectiveness and efficiency impacts
- With a 2023 population of 48,946, Prescott is the 23rd largest city in Arizona and the 812th largest city in the United States.
- Prescott has a population growth rate of 2.2% per annum

for Tax Payers
- SAFETY, SAFETY, SAFETY & HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT
- Re-think health services strategy so we have medical professionals in town!
- Police and Fire and EMT/Ambulance tactically excellent based on state of art facilities
- Reliable garbage and solid/liquid waste collection and disposal
- Affordable housing for our services providers and workers
- Excellent roads and surfaces
- IT facilitated public road transportation
- Tax/financial planning for seniors and service providers – a new innovation
#4 – A Bigger Focus
on Young People
- There are over 50, 000 under18 citizens in Yavapai County, and estimated to be ~17,000 in Prescott
- Focus on what the younger people want! Involve them and they will step up and lead with us to our future:
- Better education with strong fundamentals
- Great colleges/technical training for further education
- Local internships and co-op placement – trades emphasis
- World class sports and activities
- Younger persons activities
- Go-carting, wall climbing, stand-up paddling, skateboard etc
- Best practices in medium size SW cities should be studied and mimicked!
